The Italian Martha Stewart

Ever wonder what life would be without Martha Stewart?
Me neither...
I just never stopped to think about that.
But let me introduce you to Wilma De Angelis, the Italian Martha.
She is very famous for her talk show in the kitchen and her cooking abilities.
I just happen to have a book of
hers...I had this for almost 20 years.
It usually makes it's reappearance when my mom is here visiting, as this is one of the few books she can actually read and understand (my mom speaks little English).
This book has a little of everything:
DIY
cooking
manners
health
crafts

...
I like this book, because it has tips for just about anything.

Now you know the Italian Martha...aka Wilma.
To each it's own.

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

Good Evening Daniela, You can tell this book is about 20 years old as it has a section about manners....I haven't come across many books which discuss manners. It's wonderful when you find a book which you love and even nicer when it is a book which your mum also enjoys. How lovely that you had your mum to stay with you. Have a lovely day. Best Wishes Daphne

I love it when you share bits of Italian heritage with us. :)
And I know it must be a great book, since you cook very tasty things!

That looks like a great book! I wonder if it is available in English, as I do not, alas, have an Italian-speaking mama, nor do I speak any Italian myself. Let alone read it!! But I know I would love it, I so love cookbooks, especially older ones. I will have to see if I can find an English version!! Hugs

Oh I'd love to meet your Mom!! I have a great aunt who is from France and I just love the foreign cultures. Italy would be one of my first Europe stops as well as France :)
My aunt has lived here most of her life - married durring the war and came over as a war bride. Spoke NO english at the time and still carries her thick accent. So cool!
