Storage to seat

Since I was able to refinish this old desk,
I wanted to make a seat suitable for the space.
I decided to use this storage basket we kept in our bedroom and use it as a seat.

I painted the wooden top,
then added a strip of dropcloth.

I attached the fabric at

the bottom of the wooden "lid".
I also added wheels at the bottom,

just like I did with this other basket under our coffee table.

This kind of seating serves its purpose well.
We keep coloring material for the children in there.
desk project HERE
Easy accessible but out of sight.

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

Very cute Dani - I have a similar one - I've used it as a stool but it's back to being a basket now lol.
It fits perfectly in your desk - and it's a bonus that you can keep all your coloring supplies for the kids out of site!

Dearest Daniela,
You indeed could create several pieces for a sales catalog!
Very nice looking and how cleverly done.
