Ever wonder how to make a vinyl wall decal without a silhouette cameo?
The possibilities are endless and this is something easy to do.
Sure it would be faster if you owned a silhouette cameo, but you would also have to pay about $250 for the machine+material.
About a year ago I found a pack of 5 vinyl removables wall "tiles".
It was only $1.
They sat in the closet until yesterday.
I searched for an image for lamps, and
made my own template.
Size and shape will vary upon what you like.
I printed the image out on several sheets of paper right from our home printer.
I got my exact knife (and scissors) out, and cut the printed images out.
You can use a few layers of cardbox, a quilting mat or magazines to protect your table as you cut.
Then peel and stick it on the wall.
I initially put the decal in our kitchen...and you can see I have already moved it.
I use just one of the square tiles for the entire decal.
So I was able to make this for about .20cents, which is just the cost of the vinyl material.
I like it.
Stay Frugal,

Never seen this idea. You truly had me fooled! I was like, WHAT decal? Then I realized those weren't real. :) Looks great there.
XOXO,

I like it too! That was a great idea for that space. I think it looks good there. I've never hung a decal before.
Looks great! I have never seen those tiles...I guess I will have to be on the lookout - thanks for sharing this great idea!

I have a silhouette and guess what...I still prefer cutting things out by hand. I love how this turned out and I love that you proved you don't need a shilouette to do it!
Genius! I love it! I don't have a silhouette and thank you for this great idea!
Me too. I really like it too!
