Wallpaper Can

I find myself with plenty of can and canisters...
just can't throw them out...
well, sometime I do end up recycling them other than reusing it.
This is one of my latest project.
First I started by putting the

lid on the bottom.
I used a couple of free sample of paintable wall paper border --which are exactly the right height of the large can, and can be found for free at any stores that sells wallpaper--
and hot glue it to my can.
I am a fan of paintable wallpaper, I like the raised texture, and I like the fact that you can actually paint it.
I am thinking of painting the one with the rough texture.
I have painted the inside as well, on previous ones, but this two cans will not, as there will be gift paper lining the inside.
This makes for a pretty container for a gift set.
Also is a great way to hide remote controllers inside, or other similar things.

I will leave you with a before and after.

Stay Frugal,

Those ARE pretty! I love the idea of using them to put a gift in too. Then the container is part of the gift as well.

You do the best stuff! I would just see old cans and wallpaper samples that were taking up space!

That is a great way to use samples or scraps and repurpose cans.
