I am a pizza lover, but sometime I get that "pizza crave" a little too late in the day.
So what does this (frugal) pizza lover do?
No, not ordering delivery pizza.
I make this super quick last minute pizza dough.
...and I double it.
Let it "rest" while I get together all the other ingredients.
Make my fast pizza sauce,
shred the mozzarella cheese,
and get the other toppings out of the fridge.
Roll it out,
put the sauce, cheese and toppings on.
***I used leftover grilled asparagus, boiled eggs and fresh mozzarella***
Bake at 400-450° (according to your oven) for about 20 minutes.
If I do get my acts together earlier in the day...
I always prefer to make my
pizza dough that require rising.
But for a last minute pizza craving,
this does a wonderful job.
Stay Frugal,
Daniela
ps. one homemade pizza will cost as little as $2
(or more, depending on your topping selection)

Ok, I'm going to have to start making pizza for myself instead of waiting on someone to be here to share it with! I love it and want to try this quick crust as well as your original!
I'm SOOOO going to try this one!
Gotta get some rapid rise yeast.

You just gave me the perfect excuse to procrastinate on making my pizza dough. I usually make mine in the morning, but some days, it seems so hard to get the motivation to get it done...now, when I feel a bit lazy, I have your recipe to fall back on. Thanks!
Boy-that sounds really good- and quick-and cheap to make- xo Diana
Stupenda! Ha un ottimo aspetto, da provare!

Oh yeah! That's my problem - I remember too late in the day to let it rise and I love making my own. Yay, now I can at the last minute. Thanks!
I've never seen a pizza with asparagus and eggs on top, but I have to say it looks really good! I'm sure it's more healthy that way too.
Ahh, an Italian after my own heart! (I'm Italian, but I don't cook, and that pizza looks amazing! :)

Dearest Daniela,
Super recipe; even better than Trader Joe's $ 1.19 whole wheat ready pizza dough. This is simple and yours looks yummy.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
Mmmm, that looks so good!!

I just came from visiting your Etsy shop after seeing the great linens on Creating a Life.
Wonderful stuff!
I am being good until the end of the month because I did a bit of overspending over spring break. But, I will be visiting the shop in a few weeks.
Now, that looks like a gourmet pizza! I have never thought to put hard boiled eggs on a pizza. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Oh this looks so delicious! I really want to do this one, definitely pinning it!
