Dropcloth Napkins Placemats

A few months back I happened to buy a dropcloth that had more imperfections than I wanted.
I actually think that the imperfection give it a "rustic" feel.

That said, I didn't want to make something to sell with this material.
Given that dropcloth is a fairly inexpensive fabric,
and that this was a 100% cotton fabric,
I decide to use it to make some extra large

dinner napkins.
I will be using them when guest come over.
I made plenty of them.
Because of the larger size,
I thought about the possibility of using them as a placemat.
Or just as larger lap napkins.
Oh the possibilities.

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

I make a lot of pillow covers with drop cloth fabric and it is so frustrating when you pull one out of the dryer and it is snaggly! Great way to use the fabric. The napkins are such a great size!

Super cute Daniela! Great way to use a drop cloth that you didn't feel to use for something to sell.

Love them as a place mat. I think they look great hanging slightly over your table.

These napkins look great. And I like the variety of choices because of the larger size. Might have to be a bib for great spaghetti dinners. :-)
