Pasta with Sausage, Artichokes, and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Last week we were having a good friend over for dinner.
Because he eats with us on a regular basis, I was running out of "favorite" recipes to cook for that dinner.

I looked in my pantry and freezer and searched online what I could make with artichokes, sausages and

sun-dried tomatoes.
This is one recipe that came up on my search, and believe it or not, this sounds really like something you would eat in Italy.
Southern Italy that is.

Sausage, artichokes, and sun-dried tomatoes are foods found in Southern Italy cuisine.
So I decided to make this and it was a great hit.
Here is a link to the original recipe
I did change few things around.
I used sausage links cut in rounds, used jarred artichokes instead of frozen and I added some pesto for "basil flavor", since I didn't have any fresh available.
 That's all.
Enjoy it!

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

Steve has been making the pasta sauce with artichoke hearts lately and it tastes great.

Looks pretty good to me! I love artichoke hearts and using pesto in place of basil is a pretty clever trick! Hope I can remember it!
