Construction-end of day 7

This week our construction has slowed down because of crew being sick and now rain on the radar.
That said, this is what we ended up with after
7 days of construction.

They will resume working the week after Christmas.

I am really happy that they get to take off a week to spend time with family,
and to celebrate Christmas.
Meanwhile,
I get to work on few projects for the new room.
As they were cleaning up yesterday,
I asked them to leave this yummy goodness leftover pieces.
They looked at me as if I was crazy...
but who cares.
Right?
Free for me to "play" with.

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

That is great...7 days! Stairs are not easy. We have had three different sets installed over the last few years. In three different locations. :)
I know that the time to get them right can be long. They look great. Will there be more supports going under the room part?

I know you'll do something wonderful with them, that will work in your new room! :)

It's coming along so well! I know you're so excited to get started on the sunroom. Looks like it will be a good size. I love the look of new wood on a deck. Ours is all old now and turned grey. It needs a makeover bad!

Dearest Daniela,
No matter how well we plan certain things, there will always be the unexpected like drastic weather changes or sick crew members. For sure those days off will be beneficial to all and you have already made quite some progress!
Let them stare at you; they have no idea that you are a woman with two golden hands!
Hugs and Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
