MIA

I know some of you might have wondered where I have been.
Well, let me tell you.
This past week, on top of my usual duties,
I have been planning a multi family yard sale to benefit a good friend of us.
Imagine the stuff that friends donated to this cause...10 tables full, big items on the lawn.
It all had to fit in our 2 car garage...we could barely get from the garage doors to our back door.
This morning we started to pull the tables out at 5:45, and I was finally able to eat a sandwich at 2:30pm.
So blessed to call those people my friends, and so humbled by everyone generosity.
Yes, the world is still full of wonderful, selfless people.

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

How nice of you to do this for a friend. I recently had one myself, and I thought I was up early at 7 am! Ha! You worked very hard, and what a huge seed you've sown. Get a snack and kick your feet up, as you deserve it.

XOXO,
Meredith

I bet you are tired after all of that activity this weekend! That was such a nice thing to do for your friend. I used to have garage sales a lot until I finally started selling my stuff at a consignment store. Garage sales are a lot of work!! Hope yours was successful.

Dearest Daniela,
Hats off to you and your friends for helping this particular friend. YES, the USA is full of people with a big heart like yours. Unfortunately, this never makes headlines on the news!
A big hug for being generous and God will sure bless you.
Hugs,
Mariette

Hope you had a good turn out. We keep putting off our yard sale as the weather won't cooperate with us.

How wonderful that you were able to do something to help a friend and how wonderful that you shared with us that there are still generous and kind people out in the world. It's always a nice reminder to hear.
