The Easiest Pizza Sauce

There are many ways of making pizza sauce, but this is what we use in Italy.
It is simple, does not need cooking, and it is fast.
Start with a can of plum tomatoes.
Crush/blend.
Add salt.
Add oregano.
Add a
little olive oil.
DONE
I told you this was easy!
Seriously, the fresh tomato taste makes the pizza delicious.
Oregano is the most common pizza herb, but fresh basil is often used for Margherita pizza (aka cheese pizza).
Just pick one or the other.

If you are interested in how I make pizza dough, here is the recipe

It sure does look good and easy and most of all.....fresh! Can you believe that I've never made my own pizza before like that? I've used kits before, but never completely from scratch. I love pizza. I should try this some time!

You must have read my mind this morning, I want to make gluten free Calzones and needed some rockin' sauce. Thank you, this looks so good :)

Hmmm...I make my own pizza sauce all the time but never though to use cans of whole tomatoes. I bet it gives it a nice chunky sauce. So, what else do you put on your pizza?
