Rocker stopper

One major problem with having a rocking chair in the living room + climbing monkeys children, is that it can become a safety hazard.
I had to come up with a way to "stop the rocker"...not in a permanent way, just for the
time being.
So I had to come up with an idea, brought out my stash of shims (leftover from my mirror creation and wall art),
and stacked 4, just enough to stop the chair from rocking back.
I used hot glue to attach the 4 shims to each other.
I am considering staining the shims brown, to help them blend in a little more, even if they are really not that noticeable as is.
And finally I attached velcro to keep the "stopper" from moving away from the chair.

Happy Mom and safe(r) children.

Stay Frugal,

Good solution and they blend in with the floor. I wouldn't bother with staining them.
