Room divider with picture frames

I have been thinking about this for a while...I needed to spruce up the room divider that hides extra seating in our living room.
As I am in the process of starting a bedroom makeover for our little princesses, so I took down, from their current bedroom, some picture frames that I had painted all white a couple of years ago. Some we already had, and some I purchased at the $Tree.
The frames needed a good home and I needed to add some interest to the separation wall.
I had pinned this several months ago,

Create a Rotating Gallery
bhg.com
and it was time for me to give it a try in my own home.
I added some of this stuff on the back of the picture's frames...so they won't be moving.

From plain

to this

Mission accomplished!
(on a $0 spent! It pays off to reuse.)

***I also just changed some of the pictures that includes all the members in our current family!***

I am thinking about adding some trim to the room divider, just like the trim on the inspiration picture. What do you think?

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

It looks nice, Daniela. I think it looks fine without the trim....but would look nice with it, too! xo Diana

Pinterest has such good ideas don't they? Glad you found some inspiration you could use. That looks great!

The divider looks nice without trim. However, with trim it would look more like a divider and less like hollow core doors. I read that you did purchase the divider, but when I first saw it, I thought you built it from doors. Now, there is nothing wrong with a room divider made from doors, I just think the divided would look more finished with trim.

It looks like we are on the same page, working with picture frames and girl rooms! I like how your divider looks with the pics and yes, I think it would look way better with trim!! You know I love trims, moldings, wood! :)
