Glass Storage

Yesterday I received a pack of Ball jars that I ordered last week...
the half gallon size.
I love how big these are.

I already filled them with grains, dry legumes and nuts.
Can you tell I am organizing?
I guess it's one of those things most people do with

the New Year.

I buy my grains, legumes and nuts in bulks,
so I need to have enough conveniently out at all times, and the rest stored away in a dry and cool place.
These are the perfect size for my needs,
and love glass storage.
giving you and idea on how big these jars really are
I didn't make any labels, as the foods inside are pretty self explanatory.
I am planning on building a little "rolling pantry".
Tomorrow I will definitely get my saw out and get moving on a few projects I have been wanting to start.

I had no idea you could buy these so big! Love the look and the convenience.

Those jars are wonderful! I know you are a cook that likes to use your own items rather than a mix, so these jars will come in handy! I think they look beautiful displayed like that too.

Those big jars must be so convenient. I love using glass jars for storage as well.

Love the jars and I, as well as most, store my pantry items in glass jars; all my different pastas, by brown and white sugar, powdered sugar, tea bags, etc.

I too didn't realize you could get these so big. I want some myself to organize my beans and staples. Like you I buy them in bulk and have been using saved jars such as spaghetti and peanut butter, but this means I have multiple jars of the same foods.

I also didn't know they were available in this size. Great to know and they look so pretty all filled up with your goodies.

A rolling pantry, huh? I can't wait to see!!! I love your jars and love that you kept them so simple. I couldn't agree more, what's inside is pretty enough, no need for labels.

I have been wanting to store dried goods in Mason jars for a while. It's like art with a purpose. :-)

Where can these jars be ordered? I love the silver lids and the idea of the jars matching.

Great idea. I love jars for storing items in too.
Can not wait to see your pantry.
Good luck with it.

The cook in you will "relish" having these items organized...And it looks pretty, too. :) XOXO

I had no idea that Mason jars came in such a big size! I love those and I love that you can see what you've stored. I'm going to look for some for my new pantry. Thanks for sharing such a great find!

I have the organizing bug every January too. I actually love the feeling of putting away all the decorations and moving into a stage of organizing and purging.
