Salmon Pasta in less than 10 minutes

Ever wondered how to make a "fancy" dish in less than 10 minutes?
Well, here it is.
This one is a favorite at our house and it's really easy to make.
The ingredients are very simple
Wild caught Salmon (fresh or frozen)
8 to 16oz of cream (see picture with options)

steak seasoning
egg noodles pasta (tagliatelle if you can find it here, or just any egg noodles will do)

Egg noodles taste slightly different from just regular pasta.

Get your boiling water going for the pasta, add a small amount of salt to boiling water.
While your water/pasta is getting ready, prepare your salmon and cream.
Add a few tablespoons of olive oil to pan and add salmon pieces. Cook for 2-3 minutes add steak seasoning, then flip the salmon. Cook another 2-3 minutes.

Very important NOT to overcook fish (any kind of fish).
At this point add your cream and keep on burner until the cream is hot (a couple of minutes)
Choose one.

I lined them up starting from my first choice.
If I don't have the panna #1, then I will use option #2, which you can find this in the Hispanic section of your store.
If that is not an option go with #3

You will need anywhere between 8 to 16 oz according to which cream option you chose. Option #1 and 2 are thicker, option#3 not as much.

This time I used
1lb of frozen salmon
steak seasoning
2 cans option#2
1lb of wide egg noodles
We had a good friend over for dinner, add a simple salad, and a loaf of bread.
Pair with a white wine like a Chardonnay, or Pinot Grigio.

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

This looks like another good one to try! I've seen the crema, but have not used it.

Good Afternoon Daniela, Salmon is my favourite fish, I love it no matter how it is served. I also love meals which I can prepare quickly, but which are tasty and this salmon pasta is certainly the ticket.
Thank you for the recipe, I will certainly be trying this later in the week.
Best Wishes to you,
Daphne

Simple and elegant too! I'm the only one at my house that likes salmon, but I may try this anyway just for me :)
