It's no surprise I like to build with wood.
I also enjoy building things with old wood, free wood, scrap wood...in fact, the wood I use in my projects falls in at least one of the above categories.
Since I was able to get a couple of free pallets, I decided it was time to take one apart and use the wood for one of my project.
The wood on this particular pallet has some really nice color variations.
I used super glue and nails.
A little double action makes it for a sturdy piece.
And here it is,
I am going to add a couple of handles, and use it as a "tray", or maybe I will use it as a backdrop for something cool.
In the meantime, I am working on something totally different...still with pallets.

Some of my favorite ( especially art work ) start with old free - often pallet - wood!
Can't wait to see what you come up with,

Oh, I love the idea of adding handles and using it as a tray!
Looks like you're getting so creative with all of that wonderful rustic wood! I like the tray idea very much. Can't wait to see what else you'll build with it (once you get better).
I even like it just as it is. It has character. I can imagine you will bring to life even more with handles or using it as a backdrop. It's fun to see what you come up with.

The tray is great. How about leather handles made from old belts?
Wow- That tray is wonderful. You are one talented little chickie! xo Diana
Curious to see what you make...
XOXO,

Dearest Daniela,
It is because you love to build with wood scraps that I was thinking about you when I posted this to Google+: bet you have enough scrap wood material to make these too! Hugs and enjoy whatever you are doing.
{DIY Squirrel Proof Bird House} - Yes, you can outsmart those pesky squirrels that gnaw at the in-flight hole of Bird Houses and thus ruin them. Using a PVC Pipe you will be all set! Look below via link... {DIY Squirrel Proof Bird Houses
