On my thrifting trip I found this!
.10c for the entire stack of stencil...letters and numbers!
I have to admit that I have never used a stencil. I like to free hand. But why not trying.

These are the perfect size for my recent pillow covers.

I decided on this two "meaningful" years

(yes, that is his name in Italian).
The 1861 is the year when Italy became one, under the ruler King Vittorio Emanuele.
Italy became a Democratic Republic only in 1946, when Monarchy was replaced.
Now you know a little more about the "Old Country".
I love history!
Project done.
Stenciling is quick and easy.
Just allow time for drying before using.
I love my new pillows!

Oh...what a great find.
Very cute! I like them a lot. Yes, if you use regular paint it will bleed through so you have to make sure you have something thick under your pillow cover. If the cover is not very heavy fabric it is best to use more than one piece of cardstock! I've done this before and luckily have no paint on my table - at least not from that project!

Gotta find some stencils like that! I have some smaller ones from Martha Stewart so you know that even on sale and with a coupon they were a lot more than 0.10!! How tall are they? Look great!!
