I have been in a re-organizing,
cleaning mood,
and I found a plastic clock that we got from an Italian baby's paste.

I never used it, but since I am working on a desk area for myself, I thought a clock would be nice to have.

you need for this project.
Here is what
you need for this project.
I took the clock apart, ripped the paper picture, modpodge on an old newspaper, and painted the plastic hands.
(last year I did a project with used coffee filters, and I kept saving them to use in another project...I knew they would come handy).

Wow. Very cool and creative. For New Year's Eve I was looking all over for clocks....too bad I didn't think about doing this to some of the ones I saw at thrift stores! Very cool!

What's the matter? You don't like big bright cows on a clock? lol It turned out GREAT, Dani. I love clocks and have to watch that I don't get too obsessed with them or I would have a "collection" of them- That turned out great-you are a clever girl- xo Diana
Soooo creative!
Hugs,
Meredith
I love the newspaper face of it and those stained coffee filters...very neat!
I SHOULD be decluttering and organizing! Wow, what a great clock transformation.
What an unbelievable transformation. It looks amazing. Let me know where to send all my cast offs, I would love to see what you do with them :)
So cute! Now, I didn't guess that you were making a clock. That's a pretty good transformation. I love how neutral it looks now and all the texture from the coffee filters. That is truly thinking outside the box!!
Okay, that's just too clever! I love the idea of the newsprint on the clock face. I would have never dreamed that's what you were doing with that when you showed it to us the other day.
As for your question about the lightbulbs you left in my comments, they quit making 100 and 75 watt. The 60 and 40 will no longer be produced sometime next year. :(
Stock up!

I agree! Very clever. I'd not thought of using used coffee filters, now I am thinking of it! Hmmm...I'm a saver, and my kids would definitely think I'd gone too far, though.

This is REALLY cool! Kind of shabby but modern too, love it Dani :)
