Second chances

I sometime wonder why things like this seem to call my name.
I mean,
it's a piece of wood with holes...
kind of like a cheap version of Swiss cheese.
Kind of...
Yeah, not that attractive.
But for some reason I picked this up and brought it home.

I really didn't pay more than a dollar for it.
It sat in our garage for several months (like most of our stuff does), until

I was ready to deal with it.

You see, I am one of those people that look beyond the appearance. I see the potential, and I am willing to spend time to give it a second chance.
You would have never known this coat rack had holes.
This is now in the girls' room, that I am still working on...it might be done before Christmas.
I said "might".

Stay Frugal,
Daniela

What a useful piece. You can hang umbrellas, necklaces, ribboned signs, anything in addition to the coats. It looks lovely there.

Blessings,
Meredith from www.thepolkadotshoes.blogspot.com

P.S. I adore the name of your blog.

Really neat, I have one above my guest bed and painted it white, but just don't know what to do with it!
I love yours!

I love cute peg racks like that. Looks like you put it to good use. I really like the sneak peek of the room too. The beadboard with the grey wall color and the cute picture looks great!

Hey Daniela, I'm also kind of stuck working on my daughter's room! With Thanksgiving and now Christmas projects I keep on delaying that. I'm hoping on finishing it next week or maybe before Christmas! :)

Daniela, I would have had no idea, that there were holes in that piece of wood, you have covered them so well. I am looking forward to seeing your daughters room, because if it is like all the other creative ideas you have shown us, I know it will be wonderful. Have a lovely day. Best Wishes Daphne
