This is another table setting that is both informal and elegant.
I am usually both (or I like to think so...).
I started by using some place mats that I made using dropcloth and the matching coaster that I also made (see here for diy coaster project).
I used my everyday plates, I have two complete sets in two different colors, so I layered it to give it a little dimension.
(In case you wonder, I don't iron dropcloth...I like it this way) |
For the centerpiece I used things I already have.
Twine bottle project here |
In case you didn't notice...I like neutral and earthy colors...
Simple and elegant works for me.
Stay Frugal,
Daniela

Hugs,
Cute idea. How does the drop cloth hold up after putting them in the washing machine? I was thinking trying out a drop cloth table cloth but wasn't sure if the feel is completly different after it is washed.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done! I love the title of your blog. That is sooo true.

Love the simplicity and that you used what you already have. So often our cupboards are filled with these sorts of things and we really don't need to go out and buy anything.
ReplyDeleteI love these! Simple, classic, and very nicely crafted. You could market them on Etsy...:)
