The landing spot

When you first come into our home,
you see this!
It is our landing spot.
I recently removed the key holder I made from baseboard scraps, and replaced it with this metal paper basket (I have 5 total that I got for free here).
I also moved my Bibles here, from bottom to top: Italian, Portuguese, Kabiye, French and English.
We now hang our keys on the metal basket and RN puts his glass case there too.
(Our keys have a carabiner attached to it)
I like it here.
I also moved my oatmeal-raffia vase ($0 projectin that spot, as well as my initial wooden blocks ($0 project) and distressed coat rack ($1 project).
This is my frugal entrance.
Who knows what will come next!

Stay Frugal,

  5. That looks like a very nice and organized area. Everyone needs a place for their everyday items like that. I'm sure it helps reduce the clutter around your house by having this set-up like that.

  9. You have a pretty organized entry! I love the wooden blocks and the art display.
I'm curious, do you read all of different language bibles? My guess is for the English, of course, Italian and maybe French?

  10. Italian and English, yes! I understand French and Portugues, but speaking it is a different thing! Kabyie, not...I went on a mission trip to Nigeria and Togo while in College...hence the Bible!

  13. Love that entryway. What a great, organized space! Thanks for stopping by Posed Perfection today and leaving me a sweet note about my kitchen counter. Sadly mine looks worse than the bad picture again. I know what I'll be doing first thing in the morning...after coffee. :-) Have a great week!
