One of the things that I love most,
is that after a big remodeling projects, I am left with lots of pieces of wood, trim, baseboard...and here came the idea of making this wooden blocks.

I wanted to make something for our entryway, so I choose some scrap pieces,
sanded the corners,
glued two sets of two together,
stained it, and printed out a special reminder
I had to make the N skinny and slightly taller :)
And here I filled in the letters with paint I had already and a thin artist brush.
And here it is!

ReplyDeleteThat was a great way to recycle some wood you were probably going to throw out anyway. I love signs like that. Great idea to use carbon paper to transfer the image. I always forget about that paper.
ReplyDeleteSuch a simple and cute way to use those leftovers.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a chance come link up your project at my Pin Party.
