I have been feeling like this project has taken a toll on me.
Beside being stressful, it is also hard to try to keep the children out of the dust, workers and mess.
Fortunately, they are finally finishing details and will have maybe 1 more day of work.
I have been cleaning non stops since Friday,
that's when they opened up the 2 doors.
So last week has been emotionally and physically tiring.
(while keeping up with my Marathon training)
Today I am going to show you some details to give you an idea of the "feel" that the room will have.
We have definitely come a long way since we started 2 months ago.
Can't wait until we finish the floor, hang curtains and finally decorate the room.
Stay Frugal,
Daniela
It is so nice already, Dani! Love that it is finally coming together. I was just thinking about you the other night and figured you were probably getting pretty stressed out with all that is going on there. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI really love it so far! I bet it will make a huge difference for giving you a lot more space. Love the light on the fan and the outside light too.
ReplyDeleteOh wow your almost there. I love the windows and the pretty ceiling fan.
ReplyDeleteOnce they resumed work, they were fast!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great!
Oh, it's just lovely. I love that oil brushed bronze. This addition is the perfect match to your home. Your hard work and efforts are paying off. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!!! That's going to give you lots of new space -- and look so pretty, too!!! XO, Aimee

It looks fantastic. Hang in there, and be good to yourself to try to minimize the stress so you don't get sick. Especially since you're training!
ReplyDeleteI am in love. That is BEAUTIFUL. Definitely worth the wait.
ReplyDeleteyippee.... I cannot wait to see some wide-angle shots of this space. So far I am loving the little bits that you are revealing!!
ReplyDeleteDrywall dust is the worst! I love your light fixtures. I don't normally like ceiling fans but that one is gorgeous. It will all be over soon and in time you will forget the hassles this project caused while you enjoy that new space.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're finally almost done. So pretty! I would love a sun room!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! It is looking awesome, I love the lighting you choose! What marathon are you running? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteDearest Daniela,
ReplyDeleteOh, I do understand how you feel about the dust and everything. You had a hard time to keep your children out of the way and out of the dust but our six felines were probably less understanding. They did track in loads of sand. It's everywhere. Now it's also cleaning time for us from top till bottom because whatever project you do; all rooms get somehow affected. But it's worth it. Once we have March we're all forgotten about it and you will have a LOVELY addition to your home with a sunny and bright outlook. Such rooms do cheer us up.
Love your rustic lamp and fan.
Hugs,
Mariette
We have constant Internet outages maybe due to that ice storm? Learned how to copy each comment before I publish...
Our patio was torn up last Thursday and won't be finished until next week. The yard is unplayable for the puppy and the dirt seems to blow right into the house. I can't imagine living with that for 2 months like you have.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your room all finished.
Oh you are finally almost done!! It's going to be lovely and I think the lighting you have chosen is perfect! I especially love the ceiling fan light. Dust, workers and mess are the story of my life right now, so I know how you feel! Can't wait to see it all decorated!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great Daniela! Can't wait to see it finished and I know you will feel so much better when it is finished!
ReplyDeleteHi!!!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!
You're on the homestretch now!!! Can't wait to see your beautiful room all finished and furnished!!
Pam

ReplyDeleteLOVE that ceiling fan!!! I get it with the dust. Phil has been cutting tile in the basement and there's dust everywhere. :/
