NEW Shelf Made NEW

I have been looking for a while for a shelf/cabinet of some kind for a special project.
Last weekend I finally found one at the right price.
This is an 

$80 shelf from Target. 
Brand new, hardware included.
I paid only $10 for it.
Yes, there is a catch...
don't worry, it's all legal.
I put this beauty together following the instructions.
And this is the reason why I only paid 
$10 for it.
It is damaged.
Actually the person name and address are still on the box, must have been damaged in transit.
But I was not worry about the holes.
Here is what I did to fix this with what I had on hand.
I got out this kind of really thick white laminate cardboard. 

You can't cut it with a scissor, but it's not wood.
I measured and cut 4 pieces to go both on the inside and on the outside.
You can't tell this was ever damaged.


And here it is.
Brand new once again.
I will show you soon where and how I am using this.

    That's a great find! Our Target has a terrible clearance area. I don't even remember when was the last time I found anything worth paying for there :(

    You never fail to amaze me. First you find this mind-blowing retail deal, you happen to have material on hand to fix it and know how to use it. I've no doubt that was left over from another fab rehab, but, wow!
