I can't believe it's been a year.
March 26, 2012 I hit the publish button for the first time.
Blogging has created new friendships and kept me on track with my (never ending) projects.
But among all this,
this year of blogging has really helped me realize that I do need to do what I love...even when life is busy and there is not much time for myself.
So, do what you love!
For me is hard, because I love to do many things:
painting
(not just limited to painting walls and furniture),
cooking,
building,
rock climbing
(or really any kind of physical activity)
playing violin,
and so much more...
This is why I am rarely bored...
My husband most spoken question:
"Daniela, can you just sit down and do nothing?"
Uhm...no.
So, do what you love...
for you.
Stay Frugal,
Daniela
Yay! Congratulations! Happy Blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, I really like your blog. You are like me, I always have things to do and don't even understand being bored.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your anniversary! I had no idea you played the violin. How cool is that???!!!! I'd love to hear you play sometime. You are talented in so many ways. You really are a well rounded person! I'm just amazed at all that you do.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your year. Keep doing what you love. We'll all be here cheering you on.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you! I've loved reading your blog and seeing all the great projects you do!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your blog so much. I to have a violin that I took lesson with. Although, I don't pick it up much I still love the thing. You are quite talented.
ReplyDeleteDearest Daniela,
ReplyDeleteLOVE the way you are! Congrats on your first but very meaningful anniversary as you have achieved so much! You also keep surprising us; playing even the violin. So you are a melancholic, passionate person that really LIVES! I can understand your husband. Whenever husband Pieter has to zip up something in the back or do something for me, all he says is: Can't you stand STILL for one moment...
But it's far better this way than being boring and bored!
Hugs,
Mariette
Congratulations! I applaud your energy, creativity and caring.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog-iversary!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger, I found it hard to sit and do nothing...I had to be multi-tasking. As I have gotten older, it's a bit easier to just sit and enjoy a movie or nap, though I still like to paint while watching movies! Speaking of painting, I want to see some of your work!
Glad to be connected,
-Revi
Congratulations! A great accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on one year of blogging! Love the photos of your violin. I have a daughter who says she wants to play a violin :) I've been taking piano lessons for several months now and I hope one day to be able to sit down and play effortlessly. At this point that seems almost impossible but I am going to keep trying!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on one year!!! You are doing a great job. How wonderful to have all those interests and play the violin, too. I am so glad I found you early on and can follow your journey. My hubby asks the same thing- Um-No is my answer, too- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog-iversary! Haha my husband says the same thing. I think guys are sometimes so much more relaxed than girls. But I find joy in keeping busy, as long as I'm not overwhelmed. Then I do need to take step back.
ReplyDeleteps: the photos of your voilin are stunning!
Congrats on your 1 year Blogiversary Daniela!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Blogiversary! I've heard the violin is hard to play. You sure are one talented, well-rounded woman.
ReplyDeleteJanet

ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, Daniela! You've been doing a really good job, take time for yourself and to play the violin! I wish I could play an instrument!
ReplyDeleteIn this first year I'm sure you
ReplyDeletelike many of us have become addicted
to blogging.. I just love it and have made so many new friends.
Thanks so much for your visit to mine and for the kind words.
