This weekend is the Annual Music and Molasses Festival at the Agricultural center that is located just 1/2 mile from our house.
We saw rusty things
A little hint on how life used to be...
Animals...
And even if we live within the
city limits, this place is walking distance from us (less than 1/2 mile)
So many neat things to see and do...both for children and adults.
Happy Fall ya'll!
those are great photos of a wonderful place..
ReplyDeletewe have farms a few miles away but only see old things like what you posted at Fiddlers Day..

ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you for your kind comment on my my recent post re. my World Market bottle rack.
What a neat place! I would've loved to have taken Will to see the animals like that. Your girls looked like they were having fun. It's fun to see how people used to live too.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Daniela, What a lovely day out for you and your family. The patchwork quilts looked beautiful, and the child's rocker is fabulous. It looked like you had a lot of fun. Have a lovely day. Best Wishes Daphne
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, where to start! The photos are wonderful. That looks like a wonderful day, and so pretty there, such fun things to see and do. I loved the peek inside the old home, and the little school is so sweet. Loving the animals, especially the spotted horses.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your day with us~
Nice photos, thanks for taking us along! I like to see some of the demonstrations of how things were done back in the day.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you have such a festival near you to visit! I love the shots of all the old fashioned items and people dressed in period costume. What a great thing to do during the Fall. Great images, great memories!
