I know,
I am one of those crazy people that hang
their laundry to dry pretty much all the time...and now I even hang pictures!
Yes, hanging pictures...
I should have called this blog

Anyhow, remember my $12 junking trip?
Can you spot that long black metal wire thingy on the floor?
How about now?
Yeah, no clue what it is...but for $1.50 I knew it had to come home with me.
The thing is, that since I saw it, I thought maybe I could hang it.
I used this hooks, not because the metal is too
heavy,
but because I needed the black metal thingy to stick out just a tad from the wall.

heavy,
each hook can hold about 35lb |
I added this to my TV wall art creations.
The size of it works well with the rest of the wall.
I like to new look, and most of all I love how I am able to display family pictures (maybe change it out with Christmas card?), or really just about anything.

Well I just love this look! I love anything wire. But I am lousy at hanging things. I like leaning them, but I'm out of leaning space! I'm out of wall space too for that matter! haha. Great job you did.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute idea. I love the idea of using it for Christmas cards too! It could even be a cute message holder with random notes and photos clipped to it as part of a message center. Very clever of you!
ReplyDeleteI love it!

Very cleaver and a super cute idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is a clever idea, Daniela. Love the idea of Christmas photos or cards too.
ReplyDeleteI love it! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteLOVE! That is the perfect way to change out photos (or display Christmas cards). Though, with adorable family photos like you currently have displayed, I would never want to change them :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how savvy you are! I have been looking for something like this and hope to get lucky this weekend while out thrifting. (Your family is so cute!) Christmas cards or kid created snowflakes would be perfect! YOU GO GIRL!
ReplyDeleteDaniela,
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I love this idea and boy are you clever. Beautiful!
Dee
Perfect!! I've seen things like that in home decor 'boutiques' and they're expensive! Great job! ;)

First, I love how you're using it;looks like its original purpose. Know what I think it was in its former life? A pot rack! I'll be keeping my eyes out for a used frugal one. Wonder if IKEA sells them?
ReplyDeleteJanet
I love this use for your rack. And I like the idea of being able to change the photos out really quickly. Great idea!
