The first time I stepped into our friend Kevin's home, I was blown away by all the things that he had done to make this a special place!
This dresser was $15, and he was able to wow it with a little paint and paper.
He created most of the art on this wall.
Love the details!
Across that wall you find this!
Painted chairs,
lots of mirrors,
and mirrors inside mirrors, to add depth and visual interest.
Then here some pillows (lots of it)
on this $8 giant ottoman,
and this big hanging lamp ($8 at a garage sale).
The colors and textures are really beautiful, and work great together.
And a giant mirror to reflect the light coming through the front door!
His place has so much character and wow factor...I do love all his creativity.
Most of his stuff was found at garage sales, Goodwill or on the side of the road.
Plenty of things even for free!
I will share more of his home next week!

Kevin is renting a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house in the charming Franklin Tennessee. Now, if you are a renter or if you have a small(er) place, I am going to show you how Kevin is making a design statement without modify the actual bone and colors of the home.
What I love the most about his place is that he was able to create an inviting, charming, awesome place on a very low budget and a lot of creativity!
He created most of the art on this wall.
and transformed a lot of golden and rusty finds with paint!
The lamp is simply amazing! Used to be brass...Love the details!
