Drum Shades

I love drum shades ceiling light fixtures.
I have always liked the look of it.
But they are pretty expensive...especially for the larger sizes.
So imagine my reaction when a friend of mine text me and asks me if I would like 4 of them.
Yes, you read that correctly, not 1, but 4.
Two are matching, and one is super large size.
I forgot to mention,
for FREE.
A friend of a friend just bought a newly remodeled house in a really nice part of town.
Apparently she did not like the new fixtures that were put in, and had them changed them out.
My friend happens to stop by for other unrelated matters,
sees the light fixtures on the floor and asks her what is she going to do with them.
Her reply: Do you want them?
So that's how these beauties landed on my doorsteps last night.
I am so excited.
These are brand new, and really nice.
This person, whom I don't even know, just wanted to get rid of about $1000 (if not more) worth of light fixtures.
It just so happened that my friend knew I LOVE them.

So true:
freely give and freely receive.

Stay Frugal,
Daniela
