While (most) everyone else is busy decorating for Christmas...
And by barely, I mean b-a-r-e-l-y.
You see, when you get sick, there is really not much you feel like doing.
But do you know what's worst than being sick?
We are now almost all completely over this nasty sickness.
Right now I am just trying to get caught up with laundry and cleaning...
while the children rest and watch some old time favorite Christmas cartoons.
One of our favorites is
Charlie Brown Christmas.
So, in his honor,
This is the only decoration I pulled out so far.
Stay Frugal,
Daniela
OH NO...sick is not good...and even worse when you are ALL sick. Hopefully that means you will get it all over before the holidays. I was really sick last year but during the holidays and it just ruined it for me...and everyone I think.
ReplyDeleteThat tree is adorable! I love it. I love Charlie Brown too. Great memories for me.
We still watch A Charlie Brown Christmas every year. Such a great memory from childhood. Being sick is a real bummer, and I hope you're all feeling better soo... in time to enjoy the season. That tree is sooo sweet!
ReplyDeleteDaniela I LOVE IT!!! Glad you guys are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are all well soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the Charlie Brown tree!
What a cute Charlie Brown tree! It's perfect for a kids room too. So sorry to hear that you all have been sick. I've had my share of being sick with young children and it is not fun. Especially when everyone else is sick at the same time. Hope you're feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family feel 100 percent soon! Love your little tree...and I haven't started at all yet! Maybe this weekend...

I am so sorry the whole family is sick. I can't imagine taking care of yourself and three sick kids at the same time. I hope you all feel better very soon!!
ReplyDeleteCynthia
You just have to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas special! One of my favorites, plus a Christmas Story! Hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteDearest Daniela,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read you had a rough time with your little ones and yourself being sick.
Guess you are way ahead of me but tomorrow I will put a few Christmas decorations out as on Saturday I will have Open House for my business sales. Don't know the attendance but the Chamber did mail out a Chimpmail about 5 times.
Your tree is one I love; minimalism!
Hugs and best wishes.
Mariette
Hope you guys feel well soon!! :( Charlie Brown's Christmas is our favorite. Love your tree. XOXO
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. I loved the Charlie Brown Christmas show and so too your tree. There was something so endearing about his love of that little unloved tree.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that all of you were sick. Hope that you are all better now.
ReplyDeleteI've been decorating for over a week now and are almost finished. It's hard when you get older - takes forever to finish a project.
Love the Charlie Brown tree.
Take care and feel better.
Mary
I am with you. I have decorated even less than you. Normally I'm the weekend after Thanksgiving...this year, the husband has too much homework and finals to worry about. And I am not feeling inspired to lug our decorations out of the shed through the 3 feet of snow by myself. Cross fingers we get some motivation this weekend. Hope you start feeling better, having to watch kids while feeling poorly is the worst.
ReplyDeleteBeing sick is definitely no fun. I hope everyone gets on the mend really soon and energy levels return as well. The Charlie Brown tree looks great. Just know that you're not the only one without any Christmas decor. It seems I just finally realized what to do for fall. LOL
ReplyDeleteAgain, hope you all feel better really soon!
Oh, Sorry to hear! I hope you all get better soon.
ReplyDeleteOH NO! Sorry to hear you have been so sick. It's so hard to be sick as a mom, no sick days to take. I hope you get your energy back soon. I am sure the girls were excited to have the first decorations go in their room. We love Charlie Brown too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear your feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThe Charlie Brown Christmas tree is so sweet.
Oh no! Being sick with kids is definitely not a good time. Hope you are all back on your feet soon.
ReplyDeleteThere is plenty of time to get ready for Christmas!
Omigosh, being sick with sick kids is almost as bad as dealing with a sick husband! Hehehe...
ReplyDeleteI love your Charlie Brown tree though!!
Feel better!
