And here I am again...
on the quest of beautify storage in our master bathroom.
I needed to find or create three containers to fit in the cubbies on the right of the vanity.
Here I came up with two, for a total of money spent of $0.
The first one is a mailing box covered with leftover beadboard wallpaper, using a glue gun
The second one is this wooden crate
that used to be in our girls room.
Well, here is what I did with this.
First I primed the wood part that would be exposed
then I hot glued two pieces of wallpaper board, that was a free sample,
on the "BABY".
(fyi, a lot of interior decorator places will get rid of sample of floor/wallpaper/swatches of things that they don't carry anymore on a regular basis)
Then I painted the all thing with white paint.
Added a piece of burlap ribbon for handles
And here there are on the shelves.
This are easy, no cost, little time consuming projects.
Stay Frugal,
Daniela

aren't you somethin? Very resourceful - love both of them!
Love those ideas you came up with! I especially like the one that you covered over the "baby" box. The burlap handles look perfect on there too! I believe you and "Villabarnes" (another thrifty blogger) should get together.
Fantastic! I love what you did with the mailing box and the 'baby' one! They look great where you have them and love the burlap handles:)
I love it! Great idea!

I love the converted baby box! And the burlap handle is just too cute! Happy to be your newest follower; I don't want to miss any Italian recipes:)

Those burlap handles are so cute!
What a great idea to use wallpaper! Do you think the cardboard box will stand up to wear and tear? If it does--you have found an awesome alternative to those expensive canvas-lined baskets. Those turned out so cool! I'm hosting a linky party "One Creative Weekend" at OneCreativeMommy.com. I'd love for you to visit and link up this idea and/or anything else you'd like to share.
I love both of your boxes - they turned out so nice....
This is great! I really like the how you added the handle to the wooden box. How simple yet awesome! :)
